animated image

Note: This tag is automatically applied by the upload system and should not be added manually.

Definition

The animated_image tag indicates that a character card uses an animated image format instead of a standard static image.

Cards with this tag use formats such as APNG (Animated Portable Network Graphics) for their primary avatar, allowing the displayed character image to contain motion or animation.

Usage

This is an auto-applied tag and should not be manually added to character cards.

The tag is automatically applied when the uploaded character avatar uses an animated image format such as APNG rather than a standard PNG image.

This tag exists to help users discover and filter cards that use animated avatars. It does not indicate anything about the quality, style, or content of the image itself.
