has example dialogue

Definition

Has Example Dialogue is a meta tag automatically applied to a post when the character card contains example dialogue in its V2 mes_example field.

Usage

This tag is automatically applied during upload and should not be manually added by users.

It indicates that the card contains example conversations intended to demonstrate how the character speaks or behaves in a conversation. In Character Card V2, example dialogue is stored in the mes_example field and commonly uses <START>, {{user}}, and {{char}} to separate and identify example exchanges.

The tag does not indicate the number, length, or quality of the examples. It only indicates that example dialogue is present in the card. The purpose of which is for search and taxonomy reasons; ie, if you prefer writing your own example dialogue or prefer leaving it up to an LLM, you may wish to search for or omit this tag respectively.
