Definition

Infant is a general age descriptor tag used for characters depicted as being in the earliest stage of life, typically ranging from birth to around 1 year old.

This tag is intended as a neutral age descriptor to enable more accurate searching, filtering and blacklisting. It does not and should not automatically imply NSFW or NSFL content.

Usage

Apply this tag to characters explicitly described or clearly depicted as infants, newborns, or babies in early developmental stages.

This may include:

• newborns
• swaddled babies
• crawling infants
• characters unable to walk or speak fluently
• nursery or parental care scenarios

This tag may be used on both SFW and NSFW bots for organizational purposes. However, if the bot contains sexualized, exploitative, or otherwise NSFL depictions involving infant characters, appropriate NSFL tags such as underage or toddlercon must also be applied.

For younger / older age ranges

For younger ages, use none (this is the earliest stage).
For older ages, use:
