plump

Definition

A descriptor for characters with a soft, slightly overweight, or pleasantly rounded body type without being excessively obese.

Plump characters are typically fuller in areas such as the hips, thighs, stomach, breasts, or cheeks, while still maintaining an overall attractive or proportionate appearance. The term is often associated with the idea of being “fat in the right places.”

This tag represents body softness and fullness rather than extreme obesity.

Usage

Use this tag when a character is visibly chubby, thick, soft-bodied, or moderately overweight in a way that is a defining part of their appearance.

This includes:

• Soft or squishy body types
• Noticeably rounded thighs, hips, stomach, or arms
• Fuller figures that stop short of obesity
• Characters described as chubby, pudgy, or thickset

Do not use this tag for:

• Average body types
• Slightly curvy characters without visible body fullness
• Extremely obese characters where obesity itself is the defining trait

This tag commonly overlaps with curvy, wide_hips, and thick_thighs, but places greater emphasis on body softness and weight distribution.
