A descriptor for characters with noticeably broad, pronounced, or heavily emphasized hips relative to the rest of their body.

Wide hips are typically associated with pear-shaped or curvy body types, where the hips and upper thighs are visibly wider than the waist and often wider than the chest. Breast size is not relevant to this tag.

A common rule of thumb is:

Width of hips > Width of chest >= Width of waist

Though perspective, pose, and clothing may sometimes make this difficult to judge precisely.

This includes:
