Definition

First Person refers to bots where the primary narrative voice speaks as, or embodies, a character or entity using first-person perspective. The bot generally refers to its own character or entity as "I", "me", "my", or equivalent first-person language.

Usage

Use this tag when the bot is designed to speak or narrate from the perspective of a character or entity. This may be established through the bot's definitions, greetings, or example dialogue.

A bot may still refer to [{{user}}] as "you" while remaining First Person, as long as the bot itself is speaking from its own character's perspective.

Do not determine this tag based solely on quoted dialogue. For example, a third-person narrator may contain dialogue such as "I am Sarah" without being a First Person bot.

Do not use this tag for bots primarily written in Second Person or Third Person.
