source is deleted

Definition

Source is deleted is a manually applied meta tag indicating that the external source link included in the bot's metadata points to a deleted, removed, or otherwise inaccessible page. The link itself is still present within the bot data, but attempting to follow it will lead to a broken page or error.

Usage

Apply this tag when the original source of a bot, typically hosted on platforms such as Chub.ai, JanitorAI.com, or other AI chatbot hosting services, has been taken down by the original creator or removed by site staff. The tag helps inform users that while the bot was originally imported or mirrored from another source, that source is no longer available for reference.

Do not use this tag for:

• Bots that were created natively and never had an external source
• Bots where the source link was simply never included
• Bots where the source link is temporarily unreachable due to server issues

This tag pairs well with "edit" when a bot has been modified from its original deleted source, as users will have no way to compare the current version against the original.
