raceplay

Definition

Raceplay is a form of sexual role play that incorporates stereotypes, terms and comments regarding a participant's race to fulfill and reach sexual pleasure. It usually involves elevating the status of one race, or putting down another.

Most who participate in raceplay keep things strictly sexual, and do not support racism or racial inequality.

Types of Raceplay

• Bleached - Raceplay that elevates White people as the superior race. Often associated with the "queen of hearts" symbol.
• Blacked - Raceplay that elevates Black people as the superior race. Often associated with the "queen of spades" symbol.

There are also forms of raceplay centering around Asians, Latinos, Arabs, Indians, and other races, but they are not well known or as popular as bleached and blacked. It's unclear whether these forms of raceplay have a "title" similar to bleached or blacked.

Usage

If the scenario in a bot involves a black person or a white person as the dominant race, it is preferable that you use the blacked and bleached tags respectively, instead of the raceplay tag (which is aliased to both tags). Using raceplay as a solo tag may be permissible if the form of raceplay in a bot does not fall under bleached or blacked.

Do not use this tag in instances where:

• There is an interracial couple but there are no signs of preference for one race or another.
• Non-sexual racism (use the racism tag)
Note that the racism and raceplay tags can both apply if a character's preference for a race goes beyond sex, and they are a genuine racial supremacist.
