user persona

Description

A Meta tag for cards where the permanent definition explicitly describes who {{user}} is as a character.

This can include giving {{user}} a name, age, appearance, occupation, species, established character identity, or other defining traits that meaningfully determine their persona.

The tag is intended for cases where the predefined user character would clash with a generic or user-created persona. A relationship with the character, POV, or a temporary role alone is not sufficient.

Usage

Apply user_persona when the permanent card definition gives {{user}} substantial character-defining information, such as:

• A specific name or identity
• A defined age
• A described appearance
• A specific species or non-human identity
• A predefined character/persona from the setting
• Multiple defining traits that establish what kind of person the user is

For example:

{{user}} is The Adjutant, Yggdrasil's former head of security...

This qualifies because {{user}} is explicitly established as a specific character with a name/title, history, occupation, abilities, and other defining information.

Do not apply user_persona solely because:

• {{user}} has a relationship with the character
• {{user}} is assigned a male or female POV
• {{user}} has a temporary role in the scenario
• {{user}} is mentioned in the permanent definition without being characterized

Those situations are covered by other tags or do not meaningfully define who the user is.
