Definition
Zoophilia describes sexual scenarios involving an animal or feral creature and another participant. While the term technically refers to sexual attraction toward animals, on this site it is used as the canonical tag for sexual interactions involving an animal or feral character.
This is the broader category for sexual interactions involving animals, including human-to-animal and non-human-to-non-human interactions.
Usage
Apply this tag to bots featuring a sexual interaction involving an animal or feral character and another participant. This includes interactions involving {{user}} where the bot establishes a sexual interaction between the user and the animal or feral character.
This includes:
- Human-to-animal or human-to-feral sexual interactions
- Animal-to-animal sexual interactions
- Feral-to-feral sexual interactions
- Sexual interactions involving fictional or magical animals, provided they retain an animal or feral body plan
When a sexual interaction specifically involves a human participant and an animal or feral participant, also apply beastiality.
Do not apply this tag merely because:
- An animal or feral character has sexual anatomy
- An animal or feral character is sexually characterized or has sexual preferences
- A character engages in sexual behavior by themselves
- Animals are otherwise present in a sexual or non-sexual bot
Family pets, livestock, wildlife, working animals, or other non-sexual interactions should instead use animal where appropriate.
Content involving feral Pokémon should instead use pokephilia, which serves as the dedicated NSFL tag for sexual scenarios involving Pokémon. This tag should generally be reserved for non-Pokémon animals and feral creatures.
This tag generally does not apply solely because a character is furry or anthropomorphic. Humanoid animal characters are typically categorized using those tags instead. As an NSFL tag, this tag is determined by the sexual interaction depicted or established in the card's content, rather than whether the character is considered sexually attractive because of their animal characteristics.
